Brian	I can't but wish that Mary Byrne had been on BGT and had won instead of subo. Mary has a tremendous voice but obviously not an x-factor voice....
JK2006	No sour grapes here J&B; just sadness about the danger and inappropriateness of thrusting celebrity upon someone not psychologically prepared for it - and why should she be?
Jaded and Bored	I suspect a tinge of sour grapes here. Subo is an excellent celeb and a true star. If she were a skinny blonde stunner she would be all over the net with some bearded fellow eating her out (Kesha anyone ?).
Blue Boy	I agree 100% that a charismatic, articulate, confident, thin woman with the same voice would not have had the same world-wide mega-success SuBo has had in the last 18 months. but... as anyone who has worked in the biz knows being dealt a good hand is one thing but knowing how to play it is were the skill and talent is needed. I think Simon and his team played a great hand in continuing the Susan Boyle success story. I think too many people underestimate how hard it is to get a sucessful follow up album after a runaway debut hit. Just ask Duffy!
