Blue Boy I watched the show and came to the same conclusion, a very underrated talent. He came across as incredibly humble and shy which surprised me given the fact he has been the front person of a successful band for so long and has toured his own one man show X-Ray. So refreshing to see someone genuine and without any obvious signs of ego reflecting on his life and not trying to rewrite history.
JK2006 Towards the end I was thinking "they have left out Lola" and then on it came.
My God he's written some great songs.
Strange man - always was and so was his brother but I liked them both (I gather Dave had a stroke a few years ago) and their family has always been very supportive of me.
Great show though. When Yentob is good he's very good.
Just hope he hasn't read my Monkey Man novel.
