Blue Boy With Gerry Rafferty's sad passing a lot of radio stations have been playing snipets of Baker Street. The sax solo helped make that song a classic but there is very little mention that the riff is a copy of a Larry Coryell guitar track. How did they get away with something so blatent? The Coryell song was first released in 1968 and a revised version appeared on an album released the year before Baker Street. Here is a link to the Coryell track, what do you think?
