Michael I've just run an item about a deal concerning Gracenote and US music publishers. Gracenote, whose data is used by iTunes and many others, is compiling lyrics that will subsequently be made available through other operators such as iTunes, RealNetwork or whatever. Apparently, it will initally launch in the US and Canada.

Nice to see someone in the business actually doing something with lyrics. I'm dying to see how they track use.
