Al Ray was, at the time, with The Hollies. I was a big fan of the original MUD line up but the only one I knew personally was Les.

It was good to see Dave alongside Rob again on "I'm Coming Home", last Christmas.
cillas big arse I am sure it was Ray styles that went into kitchens about 4 year ago after his session work was no more.he had a studio behind the oasis swimming baths in holborn and worked with various bucks fizz session guys.I did 3 sessions with him and Andy Summers from Police in 1992.back then his studio was going tits up.Dave has done insurance for over 10 year now.
Al Thanks for the info. I had heard that Dave had a fitted kitchen business, but didn't know about the insurance side. Les was a very easy going, thoroughly nice chap. Last time I saw him I took him to my local Chinese. It was just after Christmas and he'd had enough of turkey dinners.

Les was the 'sound of Mud', but Syd Twynham has been with the band longer than some of the originals. I wish the current line up all the best.
cillas big arse 5 year ago I bought an insurance policy with C.I.A insurance and the rep came to see me and it was none other than mud drummer Dave Mount.so if you want to meet him!!!!,he still works there as in Jan 2006 when I emigrated he came round to say goodbye.I also noticed that Les Gray started his own Mud but now he's passed away the band have decided to carry on with no original members whatsoever, very strange.....www.mud.web.com
Al JK ... I just listened to your track - Easy Loving - and have to say I like it a lot. Has a kind of 1970s feel, a bit like a MUD B-side (my favourite band, by the way, so that's a compliment). Thanks for sharing it.
