JK2006 On one current campaign they use Different Drum by the Stone Poneys - sung by Linda Ronstadt and written, before he became a Monkee, by Mike Nesmith.

One of my favourite records from 1967. And it illustrates - ad execs are aware that those tunes we wrote back then were mass appeal, with across the board attraction.

They just don't write them like that anymore.
