Jaded and Bored |
Whether point scoring or valid arguments, lunatic posts (ITK & BR) or
intelligent observations (ITK & BR), JK bragging or giving good advice,
others slagging him off or agreeing with him, let's keep this board going.
All are welcome especially the naysayers as it helps move the debate on.
As for giving JK advice, anyone is entitled to give their opinion, advice,
admonishments, rebukes or otherwise. Your prior success means nothing as
we are all in the same boat in the here and now.
JK is unlikely to get any major airplay anytime soon so has certainly done
his bit for the new model as have others on this board. This makes them
qualified enough to dish out advice.
It is comments like those expressed by the Fat Controller that makes one
jaded and bored. But keep them coming. |

Jk, You've missed out a piece of the process, what has been happening is :
1 - Different Opinions expressed
2 - One of the regular contributors disagree and tell the person to leave
3 - They flounce off in a blaze of feathers and sequins

BB you're taking things out of context,and as such will not get full enjoyment of your time here as a result.
The move on reference was for this topic,not out of the board.Also Jk never told him to leave,just joked about his dramatic exit.
There is a fine line between honest debate,and point scoring.In my view he crossed over the line,but that said I actually took the trouble to invite him to stay.
I'm sure your grievances have been noted,but remember this is JK's board,and as such we must expect it to reflect his likes and opinions.
The net is a big place,and finding comfortable places is not so easy.So it's worth looking after them when we do.

My very very last last post (not flouncing in feathers and sequins I'll be back). I suppose I'm one of the sycophants blue refers to. However I've always had the urge to call JK a wonky faced egomaniac! 
Having said that I find it quite staggering that there are people here who feel they know enough about the media to give him advice. That's akin to sitting Paul McCartney down and giving him tips on how to write hit songs, or advising Alex Ferguson on the best ways to manage a football team.
I dare say that JK has been relatively more successful than most here in promotion, media and peddling hits.
