Chris Retro Great tune. A similar story to Elton's "Step Into Christmas" in that Queen had an excellent 1984 (as Elton had a great 1973) but both singles sort of got lost in the Xmas rush due to other high profile Xmas tunes (Elton was up against Slade & Wizzard, Queen lost out to Band Aid & Wham!, and in some respects Gary Glitter) - and yet both tracks are, as far as Xmas songs go, musically top-drawer.
JK2006 Chris Evans just played Queen's Thank God It's Christmas which I had never heard before.
Wow! I immediately recognised Freddie's voice but he was so head and shoulders above today's midget vocalists it brought tears to my eyes.
Is it just that I'm getting old?
