In The Know ...probably, but it was a good deal (the only one on offer?) at the time ?
dixie Doesn’t this make a mockery of the BPI’s claim that it is the artists who would lose out if copyright terms on recordings are not extended? John Craig, being the BPI’s longest serving council member must surely understand that. This is an example where, though the law is being changed, the restrictive contracts that were signed based on old understanding of copyright terms are not being amended.
