david PJ Proby certainly comes across as a bit eccentric and... errm... difficult in Marc Almond's autobiography when Almond talks about the album he largely wrote and produced for Proby in the 90s.

But have a listen to this absolute cracker of a song from that album. Written by Almond and described by PJ Proby as one of the best things he's ever done. Whatever one might say about Proby, he has a brilliant voice.

andrew Read my gig review from last night Prunella.
andrew You should of chatted him up I saw Kate Bush when I worked in ASDA.
Prunella Minge While we're on the subject of sixties singers, I was amazed a while ago to find Clem Curtis from The Foundations wandering around the Co-Op in a small Buckinghamshire town, touting his own brand of Jamaican sauce! Quite surreal.
andrew I'm the same JK I'm just saying what Paul Jones said.
