And illustrating why remixes work...
Alex's vocal mixes (by Carrie and by him) are No1 and No2 in the iTunes Vocals chart.
Of course, there are some who feel fans should NOT be given different versions of a song... although everyone does them (I remember all those dance remixes)...

Will almost certainly be Top 20 (bad luck PH - your intelligent friend may just be getting a £20 note from you) - could even be Top Ten - might make Top Five.
The fascinating aspect is the physical CD sales - over 1500 on first day so far - aiming to shift 10,000 copies this week, which might revive the retail sales for singles.
No1 in Slovenia - charting (and selling) right across the world; physicals via Amazon.
No major label needed.
The big question is - with fans everywhere wanting to hear it, might radio actually start playing it? Or will programmers continue to be dominated by major label priorities?
Today Alex is signing CDs in Manchester - watch the massive crowds outside the HMV store there. Wonder whether local press (Manchester Evening News?) will get this story before the London media.
People power - the new model - two fingers to the traditional media and watch music lovers take back the charts.
