I didn't watch the show but a friend told me to check them out on youtube. At the start I thought I was watching one of those ads before the video and was surprised that this was the run up to the audition, so I can see the point K was making. As for the actual act, they were OK .. a bit like a working man's club version of The Barenaked Ladies .. but I'd need to see more from them before making any kind of judgment. This might be all they have to offer.

The show should be about discovering raw talent, not for the makers to develop a group and use the show as a platform to launch their careers.
Imagine queuing outside for hours and seeing them drive up in a car with a camera crew and be ushered through, the cameras on them the whole time.
David Walliams comment about them having their own TV show was the icing on the cake IMO.

Massively set-up IMO. They were featured regularly throughout the show in their car larking around on the way to BGT. How many other acts get that kind of preferential treatment?

BGT general comment; sadly the cowardly ITV decision to move the show later to avoid a VOICE clash means I could only watch half an hour - Salvo previous weeks; Bridge now; both on BBC4 at 9pm.
And I'm not that bothered to catch up on iPlayer.
But I loved the Rogues. Excellent music, original approach, great look, good variety of vocal talent; my pick of the auditions so far.
