Pumpkinhead It takes all kinds, but I wasn't impressed. The girl looks good but the arrangement left me cold and I think they didn't sing as well as many others that I have heard. I would have buzzed them (or whatever they do in that show).
JK2006 Agreed Dixie; someone has clearly taught them how to sing together not conflicting, which is what ruined this stage of the UK show.
dixie Wow. Two fantastic vocalists. Interestingly, it appears that the two performers are complementing each other, as opposed to competing. I've seen most of the UK performers but both these two are far better than any of the UK contestants that I've seen so far.

Who got through to the next round?
DJKZ I don't know about the UK version as I have tried to avoid it totally. But the Australian version is riding high
in the ratings and the battle rounds are proving more controversial than ever. It has Seal, Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden and Keith Urban
as the judges.

Seal is incredibly charming and the star of the show, Delta seems to be just eye candy and is lacking in judgement and sincerity (according to
the press here), Joel isn't really doing it for me and Keith is just too nice but decent.

This clip me highlights a major flaw with the format in that with the battle rounds they are putting
their strongest singers against each other, but it is the talk of the town. Will it last? I really don't know but it is working so far.
