DJones It would be great if you could provide some details of your insights ...

There is a great website to analyse & compare the playlists of UK radio stations:

comparemyradio.com/

One example:

BBC Radio 2 compared to Capital FM (last 30 days)

Capital FM played 163 unique tracks

BBC Radio 2 played 3,259 unique tracks

The stations share 23 unique tracks

Capital FM shares 14% of its playlist with BBC Radio 2

BBC Radio 2 shares 1% of its playlist with Capital FM
Notcyrilshane the music - and radio - industries have changed

JK2006 with my old friend Paul Gambaccini discussing the way the music - and radio - industries have changed.
