The 90's was virtually a Poundland version of The Beatles Vs The Stones. Music got very dull, with hardly any decent pop music.

Funnily enough, watching the very articulate John Taylor, I found myself, for the first time, rather liking the Duran hits.
And even the ghastly Britpop Nineties had two superb tracks - Don't Look Back from the appalling Oasis and Song 2 from the dreadful Blur.
Every era - thank God - has a few gems. Just check out I'm Sorry by Nick Clegg!

Some 70's stuff was good too....early Queen and David Bowie. The worst decade has to be the 80's, the start of style over content.
