I'm on AOL, and haven't had any information from them about charging for emails. My silver broadband service is fairly useless, disconnecting every few minutes, and their support service may aswell not exist, so I might just be changing to another company.

AOL install some pretty hard to find files that stop subsequent ISPs from working. Wanadoo tech support had to talk me through finding & removing them when my parents got online, its a common proplem apparently...

I heard they were offering the option (along with Yahoo) to banks & financial institutions. Their mails will have a blue ribbon icon so you know they're genuine, and not some geek pretending to be from Halifax asking for you account number.

Are they going to charge 1 cent a message from April?
Anyone know about this?
And if you DON'T pay, you get second class service?
