Michael Looking around my office, I can see loads of little knibs and knobs given as tokens of affection at some stage: a paper cutout of a pint of Guinness, an envelope opener, a garish bottle-opener, a cloth to clean my glasses, etc. In each case, it was the thought that counted.

For the extended family, we agreed to put a cap on the spending years ago already. The really important thing is to get together, I'd say.
