david Really liked Hungary's semi-final performance.

Hope it does well, it has really divided opinion in Hungary and is a very marmite song over there.

Hyram P Goode-Resin I heard The Shadows' 'Let Me Be the One' the other day - first time in decades. Lovely little song, I much preferred it to Abba's song about dyspeptic history books etc. I like the Netherlands this year, but really there's so much tat these days I don't blame the Beeb for giving up the ghost.
JK2006 For me Dixie, Denmark is a real no hoper - Eurovision by numbers.
Didn't hear any hits on one brief listen, which is why I plumped for Germany - but on seeing The Netherlands I really liked it, and her... one of my personal favourite entries in ages; original and clever...

I may get attracted to one during the second semi (met the nice Icelandic guy) but doubt it.
dixie I'm no expert on Eurovision, but I have a friend who is!!

Denmark are so clear favourites its making the odds on everything else quite favourable. So, like my expert friend, I have a few shillings on Germany at 22/1 covered with a lower amount on The Netherlands at 18/1. If either win, I'll be able to afford a small celebration in the sunshine.
giles2008 Germany and Netherlands drawn in first half.

Bonnie Tyler in second half.

Denmark clear favourite.

Belgium is about 150/1.
