andrew Thanks Honey. Tuna and pilchards pasta bake with lots of mature cheese and sprinkled with bashed up ready salted crisps is good also.

If you go to the supermarket shortly before they close or put new stock out you can get some terrific bargains. I regularly buy steak for twenty pence and freeze it. You cant guarantee what will be there but its fun to make meals cheaply from usually expensive ingredients.
