JK2006 Tangier (A Literary Guide) by Josh Shoemake (who surely has lost an R somewhere) - purchased from beloved Amazon after a terrific review in the Times or Telegraph. Anyone interested in the world of Paul Bowles (The Spider's Web - his finest) and William Burroughs (Naked Lunch - not for me) or Joe Orton must read this before visiting one of my favourite cities, on the corner of Africa and both the Atlantic and Mediterranean, simultaneously embracing both oceans and numerous cultures.
