Nicholas Lyndhurst ???

Are they kidding?

He will either be brilliant or look like a right plonker !
dixie I think Ester - Susan Jameson - has also stepped aside. (They had a joint leaving party). Shame.
JK2006 Yes; Alun is magnificent and last night was right back on form. I suspect we may be seeing a lot more of Esther! I saw Alun playing Squeers in the greatest ever stage show - RSC Nicholas Nickleby. Same show had David Threlfall as Spike. Pure magic.
dixie I'm really enjoying this series of New Tricks. The storylines have been superb. It will be interesting to see how they cope with the loss of the wonderful Alun Armstrong, who exited last night, and the wonderful Amada Redman who leaves in a couple of weeks.
