Well Mannered Fletch, far better in 'Porridge - 1st Time Offender'.

Well Mannered If JK ruled the world, as Harry Secombe.

Fletch

Ha ha ha! Thank you, Esther, and thank you, Jonathan. I am reminded of the dog called Pickles - not Wilfrid, nay, nor Eric! - who found the World Cup trophy under a gooseberry bush in 1966. He was rewarded with a bowl of sausages, and caused quite a media stir. My dear friend Hedda, I recall, was then sent out by his newspaper - which was no snoozepaper! - dressed up in a Disney dog outfit to beg outside the butcher's shop that had given Pickles the award. Oh the laughter. He got a double page spread out of that. Underneath his bottom! Tee hee! But seriously,Esther, I am indebted to Mr K King of Chelsea for the following cutting from the Gregg's Newsletter, dated 1 October: "The winner of a month's supply of luxury toilet paper goes to Mr Dick Trickle of Dulwich". Ha ha! And finally, Esther, pin back you lug 'oles for an ode:

Streets full of people
All alone
Roads full of houses
Never home
My sat nav's broken.
JK2006 Would that be Cyril SMITH? And would "sausages" be a euphemism?
Esther

Ha ha! Thank you Cyril, another belter! And now, a dog that almost says "sausages"...
