JK2006 I try to do both Pru but still have many classics awaiting my time! And so far none of the Booker finalists can hold a torch to Le Carre's A Delicate Truth, best novel of the year by miles.
Pru I fear I've given up on keeping up. It feels too much like a chore. I'd rather cover more of the classics I haven't already read.
JK2006 It's a good way to keep up with new fiction; some years are good (the Stella Rimmington year was fantastic - all 6 were great) - if they are bad I stop after about 100 pages...
Pru I don't know why you're so obsessed with the Booker Prize. An awful lot of tat gets shortlisted over the years and its even more political than music biz awards.
