andrew I would like a complete Al Jolson movie box set to be DVD there was 8 film set on laserdisc many years ago.
andrew Network are excellent at bring out forgotten classics. I bought my dad The Squirrels a release from Network for it's time of course and chatting up colleagues is no no these days.
Pru And for British camp, here's another decent re-mastered print of an old movie that's especially amusing to watch now in the light of the Mail's depiction of Portland Place as the darkest den of iniquity:

DJones
Pru There's a gorgeous cleaned up print of "I Was an Adventuress' now out on DVD. A comedy featuring Vera Zorina, Erich von Stroheim, Peter Lorre, a very young Richard Greene and loads of familiar faces, it's very camp, Lubitsch-like and great fun. I only mention it because these things tend to pass under the radar these days, but if you like that era of movie I'd recommend it!
