Banks WANT to lend money AND CHARGE INTEREST on it !
Forbes Magazine seems to agree calling the Gillard/ Rudd Labor governments (who spent spent spent) as among the top ten managed economies on the planet while the world's ratings agency gave the same socialists one of the few AAA credit ratings for their entire 6 years.
Different circumstances, hedda.
Perhaps they didn't have the historical debt (that Labour left us in 2010?)
Whatever ... they were so popular they were kicked out of office just a few weeks ago ! |

I did my course which was paid for by mum's inheritance passed it and no jobs available to use my qualification, they pick single mothers or students as jobs are only few hours a week. We don't manage we survive i.e go food shopping in the evenings. Housing benefit on a low income can vary from council to council, as Thanet doesn't have many job opportunities either makes it more hard. |

Girlfriend was from suffering from severe cramps and missed work programme appointment, even though it's on her medical records and she rang Avanta and Jobcentre up, I filled in 2 sheets when I was supposed to fill 3 but Jobcentre only gave me 2, Jobcentre got our claim mixed up with someone else and we suffered from it.
I heard Poundland won't be taking any more people on due to bad publicity, why not pay dolers to go on courses to gain certificates like NVQ's and PTS etc ?
I remember I had to go on a interview for door salesman even though it wasn't on one of my job options, it's not real work your paid commission, and you get fired straight away if you can't reach targets.
Labour started the FJF ITK, which you worked 30 hours a week and you were taxed still. ITK wants to sweep that under the rug.
Why would anyone prefer to employ a single mother? I know we are not meant to discriminate but if I had the choice between someone who has to take time off if their child is ill or starring in Snow white and someone with no ties I know which one I would pick. 
You cant carry on living with no idea when and if you are going to be sanctioned, Andrew. How on earth can you manage? I think your best option is to budget for a month with no money by only buying the most basic food and saving every week until you have enough (I can help you with meal plans if you like?)and when you have enough to get by take several part time jobs.
A good way of getting references is by volunteering for charities, or even doing the Poundland thing if push comes to shove.
You should still get housing benefit on a low income surely? |
