Face facts Freddie starr lied through his teeth when he said that he didn't appear on the clunk click show in 1973. He didn't say that he couldn't remember he blatently said that he didn't appear on the show and that he had never met Jimmy Saville. Face facts people.
Theres more evidence of Karin and co lying than Freddy, this was his one and only 'slip up', whether he genuinely forgot or thought it best just to deny it to avoid trouble and being dragged into the Jimmy Savile nonsense I do not know, but Karin Ward and the others involved in starting this charade have been caught lying about many things.
Freddy wouldn't even have known what he was 'lying' about as the accusation that he 'groped a 14 year old' on that show has already been shown to be false as the accuser was 16 at the time of the show. I don't believe anything this woman has said or written in her book, but, sorry for being un pc here, a man grabbing a young woman's bum and ogling her breasts IS NOT WORTH PROSECUTING 38 years on (if at all).
It's happend to everyone. |

Ward was chaperoned to all her media engagements by The Paedofinder General - who instructed her explicitly to repeat and embellish her accusations re: Clunk-Click, and to state her age in 1974 was 14. There is no confusion there - that is what happened - criminal collusion.
If we're living in the Age Of Litigation, it's time all concerned were hung out to dry and made to pay the highest price. Things have happened, and are happening, that will never be reversed.
I'm beginning to see why, as our society turns rapidly to shit, the Americans value their right to bear arms so much. The well has been poisoned for good. |

Who said nobody was going to see his shows? His tour a few years ago was cancelled because he had a major heart attack, not because of poor sales.
In the last "twenty years" he has performed on TV in "An audience with Freddie Starr" (repeated all the time) had two shows of his own (The freddie Starr show, and another called "Freddie Starr" )
He has presented a game show, "Beat the crusher" and he was in celebrity fat club, then a reality show about ghosts and a couple of years ago he was in one of the most popular shows on TV.. "I'm a celebrity"
Hardly washed up! Not that his popularity or expensive house have anything to do with the case.
Off course we all remember "Beat the Crusher", massive audiences for this one. As for an audience with Freddie Starr, when was that filmed? probably over 20 years ago or not far off. As for I'm a celebrity, obviously this is a show for the big stars of the day like Limahl last year and Christopher Biggins, or Timmy Mallet and David Van Day two years ago, not to mention Steve Davis this year (world snooker champion 1989).
All recorded within the last twenty years actually. (The period you said he hadn't been on TV)
The thing about Karin Ward is not that nobody thinks she might forget, but that there is evidence of conspiracy, and even if she got her age wrong in her recollections, once the transmission date became known she would know how old she was on that date.
Her birth certificate is easy enough to find.
You miss the point yet again, yes it may have been recorded in the last 20 years but only just. Ok so she couldn't remember what age she was when she was molested by Freddie Starr. By the way it is wrong to molest someone of any age. Why did Freddie Starr say he hadn't been on the "clunk click" show in 1973. Not on that he couldn't remember but he blatantlly wastn't on these shows.
Behaviour that is (and always has been) unacceptable towards a child is often considered appropriate with an adult, so her age is relevant to the claims, I think.
Freddie Starr might have been lying of course, but it is likely that he genuinely forgot. People forget all sorts of things, particularly if it is not significant at the time.
This article about memory might be of interest nwkpsych.rutgers.edu/~jose/courses/578_mem_learn/2012/readings/Schacter_1999.pdf |
