Although as I said, the Jack the Ripper mini series, is BLOODY SUPERB. Even Michael Caine is good in it!
steveimp Pity Cubby B didn't watch The Professionals because Lewis Collins had everything to be Bond - the looks, the style plus the humour. Lewis Collins was already an established sitcom actor prior to The Professionals.

I've always loved his work, the Jack the Ripper mini series with Michael Caine is almost perfect television, that even my 7 year old son was named after him!
robbiex Apparently he went for an audition for James bond, but didn't get it because he was too aggressive. How differently his career would have turned out, if he got that role.
