They know they can't afford their promises - they are just hoping that some people are too stupid to work it out !
Even if Labour get back into power in a few years i very much doubt they will honor many of their promises.They're simple sound bites,oppose,rather than construct.

I think most people object to the administration of the "cuts" rather than the principal.
