hedda one thing Thatherism worshippers exclude form their admiration is what was left in it's wake : the inability of whole masses of people to control their destinies.

They may have been 'working class heroes' who excelled and took pride in their work but they were always under the thumb of a boss in that, whatever the bosses decided affected tens of thousands of lives.

Thus for all the triumphs of Thatcher today we have the results- great swags of communities of people who have never had a job, sometimes generations of them, and in the end it's either the state pays them or then you have a real crime problem on your hands.
