JK is right, any conversation with the Police or anyone in "uniform" needs to be recorded, ideally on video but also acceptably on audio.
I had an incident a few weeks ago with 2 Parking attendants who were incredible aggressive, I started recording them because of their aggression and thinking it would stop them acting this way. It did the reverse. There is now a complaint with the appropriate council and they have the private Youtube video which so far has been seen 40 times, which I find interesting.....
