A terrifying case. At least there can be no doubt about who did it, false evidence or stitch ups. I believe the media irresponsibility in publicising the defence illustrates the lack of moral balance and the fact that "it's a good story" over rides all else.
It's another illustration of the evil extreme of religion (all religion - many serial killers praise Jesus). Let's not forget the good aspects of religion too. As in everything, shades of grey.
Sex not involved. How odd, in Britain today where every story and most crimes need to involve sex (ARE we so obsessed?).
The lesson to be learned? Let's feel pity and sympathy for all the victims (and yes, I include the killers and their families). For God's sake - the quality of mercy is not strained. Though, these days, it seems to be very strained indeed. Compassion pills have shrunk in size and potency. |
