sadly all my dear aunts are dead but I would invite them to socialist Australia so they could get 2 beautiful knee replacements as I have had in the last 10 years at nil cost except taxis to and from the hospital (although I could have used the free courtesy bus).
but it's not free of course and I think this is the problem in the UK : in Oz everyone pays a special Medicare (NHS) tax every week whether working or doler..so it's treated like an insurance policy much like UK Nat Insurance contributions.
it's all in the marketing.
