Last time I had (different but even more delicious) anchovy fillets they had a little less lemon juice, a little stronger olive oil and many more herbs... they were in a restaurant in Tangier, Morocco and you can read about them if you check TripAdvisor reviews.
I do quite a few of those. My review of one hotel in Tunisia got 17,544 views in 24 hours. So many I got a special "thank you" from TripAdvisor (a very good site). I suspect it was because many people thinking of going there on holiday want to know if it's safe now and don't trust traditional media. Quite right too.
When I was last there my friend the manager said they had got several bookings as a direct result of my review.
And a restaurant in the South of France thanked me because "three people came in last week and talked about your review".
Tunisia, would be interested in a few recommendations for a relaxing holiday.Like Egypt I find it can be hard to get it right hotel wise.Normally the Arab world is business for me,as it's a long way to get away from if it's not what you hope for. |

Waitrose near me are doing delicious fresh baby anchovy fillets in lemon juice, herbs and black pepper; tender, full of flavour - on a special sale with free sampling. Nibble a couple and you'll be hooked! But eat no more than a dozen at a time.
I'm eating mine on toast spread liberally with butter. |
