I could neither agree or disagree with either lists on books, as it is very much what you are into or thinking about at the time. I often meander away and think about great stories, and writing, but I actually could not list favourite books, much as I love listing.
According to the Guardian on Saturday, we have to watch our listing for mental health reasons, which is rather worrying, although it must be said the case study was of a patient listing his favourite estate agents and their wares.Hmmmm.
That said , the books that I have allways moved with are all my Tolkiens, all my cookery books, the Stephen Kings and Clive Barkers(which I can`t stand anymore), and endless record collecting books. If I like a paperback, I pass it on to somebody. |
