In The Know I too am a fan of this show.
Love the disfunctional Uncle - probably modelled on hedda !
Pumpkinhead me and a friend watched the whole season of "Uncle" (BBC3). We hadn't seen it before but someone said the boy was like me a few years ago. He doesn't really look like me (much) but I can see why he reminds people of me in some ways ... but I'm not quite as nerdy (I hope)
it owes a lot to "About A Boy" but has enough of it's own character to work on it's own.
The music angle works too.
We watched it on BBC iPlayer.
I enjoyed it.
