The Cambridge Union Society, commonly referred to as simply "the Cambridge Union" or "the Union," is a debating society in Cambridge, England and the largest society at the University of Cambridge. Founded in 1815, the Union is the oldest continually operating debating society in the World, and has developed a worldwide reputation as a noted symbol of free speech and open debate.[1] Additionally, the Cambridge Union has served as a model for the subsequent foundation of similar societies at several other prominent universities, including the Oxford Union and the Yale Political Union.

Cannot stand Balding. She was president of the Union Society - you don't get that unless you really are a ruthless so-and-so. It's not a side issue whilst you get on with other stuff - no, you obsess over that. Nasty piece of work. Yes, dogs - great idea, should be on BBC 2. Ditch her, though. |

I do have mixed feelings about Crufts, I don't like dogs being exploited but there cute and intelligent creatures. |
