JK2006 Yes and the new "translator" in the Malaysian case is extraordinary too. Like watching Montalbano and French/Belgian series, it's sometimes wonderful when one understands the language and can spot howlers.

Bring back that delicious mad Obama deaf and dumb guy please! One of my favourite characters of the year so far.
Pru I thought the Malaysian press conferences were shambolic enough, but you have you heard the woman translating at the Pistorius case? I think I understand the Afrikaans more than her weird mumbled 'English'! Is it actually Afrikaans translated into Afrikaans?? It reminds me of this scene:
