hedda how do you think I feel then !!! Fortunately I have a friendly doctor who prescribes suitable sleep inducing meds.

I love ships and would gladly spend a few weeks at sea to get to another country but it's now become frighteningly expensive if you don't want to mix with the proles.

I still want to travel one day from Southhampton to New York on a luxury liner...magic.
JK2006 Found myself wanting to go to the Caribbean - probably Jamaica - where I haven't been for decades. Sadly, as I get older, I simply don't want to fly in a plane for more than a couple of hours. I simply hate the air, the cramped seats, the delays and discomfort. My joints dislike it. Ditto the Far East (my favourite food). Why oh why did they scrap Concorde? One minor accident (not the plane's fault). They said it was costing a fortune: I can't believe that. Packed almost every flight (I took 256) and most passengers paying a fortune.

I'm not a big fan of ships but might try that one day, singing I'm King Of The World as we approach an iceberg (or a floating Malaysian jet).
