I was dining with a friend decades ago in a tiny Brighton restaurant (owned by the actor who played Billy Bunter as a child) when McNee asked us to join him as he was alone..

A charming, friendly and very chatty chap.
Mr Reason Imagine a classic bowler hatted, umbrella toting pose in bronze outside somewhere like the MI5 building or Scotland Yard............respectfully when the time comes, of course
Pru Interesting man. Brought up by lesbians, became a great supporter of his female co-stars and always had a healthy disrespect for anyone in authority. A lovely man, too.
