Rochdale Council said it was launching an inquiry into a possible abuse cover-up at the residential school for boys. It is understood nine people have contacted police to say they were abused from the 1970s onwards by adults at the school, which closed in 1992. No-one has been arrested. In The Know	....... and here's another one - He's obviously guilty as - a) he was rich (major businessman in the town) b) he was successful (he was the Mayor) c) he was a "friend" of Jimmy Savile ! I would have thought that ANY Mayor would have known its most well-known resident (Savile) PS - I wonder why none of these people ever remember (40 years later !) being abused by someone who ended up as a homeless tramp? Just a thought ...........
In The Know	Never met Savile? What about Cyril Smith? Lawyers for those who have made allegations of abuse said they were considering taking legal action against the Lib Dems. () www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27170175 He's famous ... He's DEAD ... He's NOT been convicted of anything ! ..... and they have the Savile blueprint to follow ! () Conveniently forgetting that he was a LABOUR Councillor when on the management committee of the boys home - but hey ! why let the facts and truth stand in the way of a good story?
