hedda in Germany, Austria, Poland a defendant's name in criminal cases cannot be published unless the media can show it's in "the public interest" and even after conviction.

the places haven't fallen apart yet because of it.

The media here wouldn't allow it of course as they claim it's in the 'public interest' that they choose who to destroy and who to let off lightly.

which goes some way to confirm JK's claim democracy doesn't work. Although it might if it were not run by tabloid decree.
