SP17 Please also google Stephen Shields/Lancaster - and the Benedictine Order.

Sexual abuse is rampant in the Catholic Church, sadly directed at the lonely/young/vulnerable.

Frank (the Pope) is out of his league. That's alright at 80, but why continue to give the pope job to chaps who should be organizing a nursing home?

No doubt, Frank is a good bloke. But he's nearly 80 - a former niteclub bouncer.

But how can a chap with a few years to live - fix/change/alter/cure such a large and badly run organisation, with so many sex abusers in their midst?

Father Sean Fortune is worth googling (for a start)...and his Bishop...

This episode is not on DVD.

Safe from change, modernization and progress - you mean.

But not from ingrained paedophilia, clergy greed and abuse.

As so many worldwide high profile cases have illustrated.

In The Know (as always) One million people (and leaders from 40 Countries) gather in the Vatican City on this historic day.

The Church is safe in Francis' hands.
