Last time I voted for the lib dems who ended up been initially the most powerful people in the UK. One only has to read "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William L Shirer to understand the position of a coalition party. With my head I still consider it the right thing to do in the same circumstances to vote for the coalition party who could stop the two party bickering and ineffectiveness. But on the other hand I will see if I can detect the blue clothing under the yellow clothing because Nick Clegg and crew had a position they could of changed lives for the better of the marginalised but they rolled over and became (or were already) true blues. I was in trouble with my wife for voting lib dems and could say nothing in my defense. In my life I was initially apolitical for years. But some time ago I realised the country's leaders are the ones with the power to protect and ensure their citizens have a life of quality.
I am in the process of writing a book that if enough interest will hopefully transform into a worldwide movement(new parties) for a better world. I am laying out a clear plan to what should be aimed at. That excludes bickering over who would run the economy better Labout or Tories. I think at this stage that neither of them is even at the starting line for positive leadership on anything. If either were capable we would not be writing on the injustices like we are.
My very simple view in life if possible is to enjoy it and at the same time I can contribute in a little way I will. I am not a do gooder. I like good food etc so will enjoy it. But if I can do something in the meantime I intend to die with a smile on my face. I do not care if I have no success. If I can leave something that I know if read will help then not my problem if people still go along and put innocents in prison and leave people without jobs and then blame them for not getting them.
So ITK the comment was what I call a throw away as I do not care for any party. I liked the Tories "right to buy scheme" (Apalled at not investing in new properties and the huge money waste in housing people in B&B's) and the labour family financial emphasis that until the Tories came back to power meant that by and large those with children were looked after in or out of work.
Lastly if the labour party were in power the borrowing would most likely not be going from 800b to 1400/1600b as if the marginalised have have more money they spend it all thus businesses do better and hire more staff and pay more in wages that is then taxed thus giving treasury more money. Brown use to favour debt cancellation as well which is desparately needed approach. |

... in that they got us OUT of the mess, as opposed to the ones who got us INTO it ?

He's no worse than Spoon Face and just look at the photo of him trying to eat bacon. Anyway isn't it Ramadan? Or is that the other lot? So confusing and so absurd; read Swift's Gulliver and the reasons for the war - should eggs be cracked at the big or little end (I go for big; can never get the spoon in otherwise).
As for British political parties; I'd probably vote LibDem again just water down whichever wankers do win but I'm never voting again; democracy does not work.
If you have a special slim egg-spoon you can get it into the small end of the egg. It is less likely to tip up that way round, and looks better.
I could never vote for someone who betrayed his brother (and is king of the wallys) or for any party that has *spits* Esther McFlippingVey in charge of anything. Or Clegg the forgettable, so I wont bother either. |
