Honey - you hit the bullseye of the problem; time, memory, media publicity, changed morals all affect incidents and erode away their accuracy. Something trivial even funny at the time can be inflated and coloured into rape.
It's exaggeration that's the main enemy, not invention. |

I think that's highly unlikely, as about six years ago she'd joke in her act (night after night) about DLT feeling her up, and two years ago she referred to it again, so presumably no one would have been so incompetent as to miss that fact.

It is astonishing, but as I understand it, it was her producer (with a vested interest?) who reported it not her.
She might think it was all a hoot but the crime (if it happened) remains the same. |

I think that, as some stand up comedians now claim to have used stories in their comedy routines that, in spite of their apparent amusement about them, were actually really traumatic, it's probably prudent not to laugh at anything they say, just in case they later reveal the suffering behind the humour. |

Jk, it was my own assumption of Lucy Porter I know you would never assume anything, god forbid. I hope you did not think I assumed that you assumed any kind of assumption.
anyhow, got to keep the law abiding media happy just incase the judge gets his phone hacked.
It looks like Southwark Crown is the sex court of the UK and maybe the world.
