John Marsh A well delivered speech. Not checked George's historic facts!

But the questions put to him from some MP's showed a total lack of looking at the problem from all [erspectives, and a very disconcerting level of lack in intelligence in the question content. One MP did ask what the suggested solution was, that was a good question. George does give some ideas. A little on the contradictory side. Like bombing not the answer but let the Turks and Saudis do the bombing.
But overall if the leaders of our country took his approach a few more steps further and looked for non reactionary approaches (Reactionary been “what shall we do?” “Yes I know let's bomb them!!”) That is considering a range of supportive measures that would transform Syria and Iraq into dynamic democracies. I am not myself offering a solution. That is what my MP is suppose to be doing. But appreciate the link to the speech. Never know what to make of George, but in this instance he shows himself to be the lone voice of reason in challenging the status quo with historical evidence to learn from and current situation to consider in a rational light.
UnReported And they do not like it UP 'em!
