Its the Ladybower Reservoir - which drowned the villages of Ashopton and Derwent; although the bell from Derwent's church can still be heard in Derbyshire.

Meadowhall - much better than any Westfield - is only about 40 mins away. Westfield in Derby has been sold - its now called something like Itsus (or is it Intu?).

Mrs ITK has suggested a visit this weekend to start the Christmas shopping - OMG !

Cowcumber and Possett One doesn't like to be pedantic here but not only is the lake referred to by Hedda not in the Peak District as ITK says but it isn't in fact a lake. It's the river Beaulieu in the New Forest. I know it. I've canoed down it
