MWTWATCHER I see today that the footbal player ched evens is being released from HMP after conviction of rape, he maintains his innocence which of course he has a right to do if he feels he commited no crime.
Rape allegations are up and this seems to be noted due to the Jimmy Savile effect, I feel rape is now seen in a different way than ever before.
Rape is basically someone does not want to have sex and maybe says no but they go along with it. non violent but is rape, this has really gone unreported before.
In most eyes rape os seen as someone maybe dragging the victim into bushes etc and when an accused is arrested and made public the public see it in this way.

It is all getting out of habd the same way images are portrade as they are by the likes of the media.

an image of a child
a 17yr old girl in bikini is not the same as a 7yr old bit are treated the same, a press heading "a stash of child porn" is misleading 100 images of 7 year olds is not the same as 100 of a 17yr old.

its all got out of hand and the public need educating.

a guy with imagrs can maintain he was not looking at children because he thought over 16s were not the law and media do not say it as it is, one brush paints all.

ps I am not defending anyone. You have a right to maintain your innocence.
