Absolutely true, but "if" somebody is in desperate need they are in desperate need. It doesn't matter where they are from.
Charities (especially food banks) largely exist to benefit themselves not the clients, and have stupid rules that prevent people from receiving the help they need. I often think we would be better off without them altogether!
Sadly people shouldn't be sanctioned on benefits, people shouldn't have to use food banks, and it's stupid that there is now a lot of red tape to stop people using food banks. |
