I predict that eventually social services will be shown to be totally overwhelmed by child abuse- some sexual but mainly abuse by neglect, violence etc etc... social workers will get to voice their concerns etc and..institutions will be shown to have been underfunded for decades and so on and so on...

a lot of falsehoods will be uncovered such as the ludicrous Elm Guest House fantasy...that will not stop the internet trolls and hysterics but will make for good reading.

probably..poor old Leon Brittan will pass away during this -he looks awfully ill and I guarantee the stress is horrible...an innocent man and always was even though Hedda shook a fist at him once..

the bill ?..God only knows. Currently the Royal Commission in Australian into institutional child abuse which has uncovered nothing the cops didn't already know about..is near the $80M mark..triple that for the UK in pounds.

The other day a social worker told me that they are so overwhelmed with reports of children being left home alone( because both parents work )that they just don't bother any more, despite the NSPCC guidelines etc strongly condemning the practice.
JK2006 And £250 million would save lives of thousands of children due to die from Ebola over the next few months. If "victims" really cared.

JK2006 A few, very few, very very few, media editors are starting to ask "why do so many "victims" seem to want this inquiry delayed for months or years?".

Another Chairman discredited. Why?

Could it be they are not keen to have their "evidence" scrutinised too closely by anybody independent? Claims against perpetrators (especially dead ones) should not be examined for possible flaws. Although, of course, supportive judges will blame errors in detail on the faulty effects of time on the memory.

Of course, the "official" reason is "these persons are not suitable Chairs because they once met/knew/heard of/walked near…"

Enjoy tomorrow's Mail on Sunday. The media is just beginning to question claims about dead people. And when a stone begins to roll down a hill -
JK2006 Oh I witnessed inmates using "I was abused years ago" to get special treatment in prisons and sat at the same table during dinner whilst inmate friends went through the local paper, finding teachers or vicars or doctors "done" and adding their names as "victims" although they had never even met the "perpetrators" in order to get a few hundred in compensation.
