honey!oh sugar sugar. From Aldi? Duck is so cheap at the moment I'm force feeding it to my lot.

Tonight we are having Somali-ish mutton curry-stew with flatbread and lashings of raita.
JK2006 Tonight? Veal casserole with onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, leeks and my delicious duck stock.
JK2006 All day today the carcass has been simmering, making stock for soup and stews. I give it 30 hours - until the bones crumble away, leaving the marrow in the stock. Then it lasts me all week, reboiled each day, as the basis for delicious, fast, easy meals.
